Pergam Technical Services and two American companies: Inspired Flight and FreeFly Systems, have created the US made UAV integrated for waste management applications. With unparalled ruggedness, the IF1200, Astro and the DJI M300, is configured with Pergam’s Laser Falcon to create a powerful solution for methane gas detection applications.
The Laser Falcon, a methane detection sensor, uses TDLAS-tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. The methane detector emits the laser beam and measures the reflected energy. When the laser hits a methane cloud, energy is absorbed, and the sensor registers the presence of methane.
The Laser Falcon sensor is designed for airborne use and needs to be mounted on the UAV.
